John Edwards: the Art of Looking Good
In part two of Stylelist's Candidate Couture series, we feast our eyes on ex-North Carolina senator John Edwards, easily the studliest man to run for President...since John Edwards' candidacy in 2004.
A cute face of course does not necessarily spell electoral success. How many attractive former chief executives can you name? What's more, Edwards has been picked on for his looks (Ann Coulter called him"faggot", and in 2004 he was nicknamed "the Breck girl" because of his lustrous chestnut hair.)
A few weeks ago, important video evidence of how Edwards does his hair surfaced on Youtube. Basically, he flips and fiddles with his bangs for an absurdly long time (do we detect vanity?), then a lady comes along and does it for him.
So what makes JE just so studly?
A) He has a great body. How many 53 year olds do you know who look this good in a suit?
B)He's photogenic. We could not locate a photo of JE wincing, frowning, or looking peeved. Compare this pic ("I feel your pain") with what the New York Daily News did to poor Senator Clinton last week!
C) He isn't afraid to wear jewelry. Good, manly jewelry, of course, like this Lance Armstrong bracelet. Does make him look a bit nelly, though.

This is going to end in some kind of straw poll, right? So we can crown Out.com's most stylish senator?

I'm certain he is truly a nice person and would be a brilliant leader. But honestly, he comes off more fem than his wife.
