The firm is dedicated to make environmentally sound fabrics and Williams will act as both an owner and investor in the company, as well as an ambassador and spokesman for the brand. Urban Outfitters pulls same-sex marriage t-shirts from their shelves. Printed with the phrase "I support same-sex marriage" multiple times across the front of the shirt, the reason behind the yank is being attributed to "bad press." It is interesting to note, however, that Urban Outfitter CEO Richard Hayne is a right-wing Republican who supports senators who vote for legislation against gay marriage. Police in Tehran, Iran arrested 49 people for wearing "satanic" clothing. In the ever increasing crackdown against Western influence, authroties "confronted rascals and thugs who appeared in public wearing satanic fashions and unsuitable clothing," Qaemshahr city police commander Mahmoud Rahmani told IRNA.
